You are hereby summoned to attend an Extraordinary meeting of the Full Council on Monday, 19 August 2024 at 6.30 pm in the Town Hall – prior to the ordinary meeting of the Full Council at 7.00 pm on the same day – for the transaction of business as set out on the attached agenda.

A councillor with voting rights who has a disclosable pecuniary interest or another interest as set out in our Council’s Standing Orders Code of Conduct (Item 13) in a matter being considered at a meeting is subject to statutory limitations or restrictions under code of conduct and their right to participate and vote on the matter.  Guidelines are available at the meeting and all councillors have received a copy prior to the meeting.

4     Finance

(a)   Interim payment arrangements

In order for the Town Council to meet its payment obligations, the Council is requested to consider the following emergency arrangements.  This is not to replace the normal process, but to raise payments as a last resort.

One bank signatory to raise payments, witnessed by the Interim Responsible Finance Officer (RFO), then to be authorised by another bank signatory, until such time that the Interim RFO is added to the bank account.

The Interim RFO will sign off the printed payments.
