We wanted to write and let you know about the sad passing of Marc Pearson who has worked in the Parks Team since 2018. The loss of Marc is very sad after he brought so much joy to many who he chatted with during his weekend work around the parks and moorings.
Rev. Kevin Beer is acting on behalf of Marc’s estranged next of kin to organise the funeral, which will be at St. Mary Magdalene’s, Crowmarsh Gifford (where Marc used to worship in his better days) on Friday 22nd July at 2pm, followed by a burial in the churchyard at Newnham Murren. We will then remember and celebrate his life with his friends at the Comrades Club.
A Just Giving page has been set up to fund the funeral, with excess monies to be given to the charities that have supported Marc.
