We are delighted that today sees the opening of the Castle Gardens
After storm Eunice we have cleared the part fallen tree.
The St. Nicholas College ruins are behind fencing whilst the renovations continue, the ivy has been removed so a structural survey could be completed. We are now awaiting to appoint the company that completes the renovations which will be done during the summer.
The castle keep is still closed off as the paths are unsafe but we are looking at getting them open again in the near future.
