We are thrilled to share the exciting news from the Thames and Chiltern in Bloom Awards. It was a proud moment for Wallingford, as all seven of our “It’s Your Neighbourhood” entries received certificates, recognising the hard work and dedication of everyone involved.
A special congratulations goes to our Parks Team for their Castle Gardens entry, which earned a Silver Gilt award in its very first year! We’re also pleased to announce that Wallingford’s Town entry was awarded a Silver Gilt for the second consecutive year – a fantastic achievement that highlights the commitment and care put into these projects.
The crowning glory of the day was winning the Regional Award for Community Involvement once again. This honour truly reflects the strong sense of community spirit and teamwork that powers **Wallingford in Bloom**. It’s a testament to the incredible things we can achieve when we work together.
With this great momentum, we’re already looking ahead to Wallingford in Bloom 2025! To kick off planning, we’re proposing a meeting in Wallingford in October. Would you like to be involved?
