Vinay Patel, owner of Londis in Sinodun Road, was looking to install a sign on Wantage Road advertising his mini-market. He approached Councillor Mike Acreman for support. Mike sought advice from County Councillor Pete Sudbury, contacted the Highways department at Oxfordshire County Council and applied for a ‘local shops’ sign. The sign was installed on Friday 10 May. Vinay is delighted and thanked the Town and County Councils for their actions. We hope this will boost businesses in Sinodun Road.
