Wallingford Town Council is looking for volunteers to form a Community Response Team (CRT) to produce (and review on a regular basis) a community emergency plan to help our community become more resilient.
The plan does not take the place of the emergency services. It provides a framework for action in an emergency to co-ordinate community support, and to support principal authorities and emergency services by providing local knowledge and skills.
We are also keen to hear from anyone with skills and equipment that might be useful in an emergency situation such as medical or first aid training, 4 wheel drive vehicles, chainsaws, generators and so on.
To find out more about preparing a community emergency plan, please see the attachments below :

If you can offer to help write or coordinate the plan or become a responder with skills and equipment, please contact the Town Council – queries@wallingfordtowncouncil.gov.uk
