With school holidays almost here you may be thinking of what to do. The Town Information Centre under the Town Hall has a good stock of free leaflets for places to visit locally and others not too far away. You can purchase copies of books of local walks and a Wallingford Murder Mystery. In Wallingford you can visit the Castle Meadows or walk down the Thames Path to Benson or walk between the two bridges. Enjoy the open-air swimming pool and the splash pool on the Crowmarsh side of the Bridge or explore the Thames with a self-drive electric boat from Pure Boating at the Boat House on Wallingford Bridge. The Bunk Line has special running days and events. The Donkey Sanctuary is open to visitors as are the local National Trust properties of Nuffield Place, and Grey’s Court. Come in and see what there is to do.
